- All you have to do is find a couple of shopping bags of pinecones outside. You can collect them ahead of time or while picking up groceries. You need to buy a Styrofoam ring that is about 10 inches wide. Pick out some ribbon to tie it together with when you are finished.
- Use a glue gun to glue the flat side of your pinecones in an upward position. Once you have wrapped them all around, loosely tie them up with a long ribbon and then tie them at the top so that you can take them off later on.
- You can hang your pinecone wreath by putting the ribbon on your doorknocker. Or you can use a wreath hanger for $5 and put it in the middle of your door.
2. Try a pressed leaf showcase.
This fall, you can make photo frames with leaves. With some help from Mother Nature and things that you already have at home, it is possible to make photo frames that display your beautiful pressed leaves. This is a thing that people do this time of year. You usually find them around stores for an affordable price!
- Put a piece of waxed paper in the middle of a heavy book. Put leaves on top, without overlapping, and put another sheet over them. Close up everything with the heavy cover for about 12 hours!
- Create a beautiful autumn picture and then display it in your house! Cut out some scrapbook paper with fall colors, but not too many. Press the leaf onto hot glue on one of the papers so that there is enough room to slide into place when you add all three together. Place two glued pieces side by side for each color at an angle.

Pumpkins make great Fall decor, and they are inexpensive. You can also buy artificial pumpkins that will last for years so it is only a one-time investment.
