Dry Rub Ingredients:

- Chinese 5 Spice blend
- garlic powder

Ingredients:
**Note** If you can’t find baby back ribs that are already sliced, pick up a slab instead. Just be sure to remove the thin membrane from the back before slicing so it will cook more quickly and have a better flavor!
- baby back ribs, sliced
- cornstarch
- green onions, sliced, green parts only
- white sesame seeds

How to make Instant Pot Asian Ribs:
Step 1. Combine all of your ingredients together in a small bowl and mix well to make sure everything is evenly distributed throughout the mixture before putting it away for later use!
Step 2. Now, it’s time to build the sauce! Whisk all of your ingredients together in a medium-sized bowl.
Step 3. Place the ribs in a large bowl and sprinkle on top of that dry rub. Toss it around until they’re all coated from head to toe, then use your hands or an offset spatula to really work those spices into each side!
Step 4. Place the seasoned ribs in Instant Pot® and pour sauce over top, locking the lid down on the pressure cooker and setting the “Sealing” button until finished cooking time expires (about 25 minutes). High manual mode with an adjusted countdown timer will be perfect for your meat needs!
Step 5. While the ribs are cooking, line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. Set aside to use when serving so it doesn’t get dirty or burned.
Step 6. After cooking, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes before doing a quick release. Once this step is complete remove any remaining steam in an attempt at releasing all that deliciousness! Set aside until needed then plate up those baby backs on your baking sheet.
Step 7. Pre-heat the broiler to high. Place a few inches below, and then place it on top of the rack in your oven for the best results!
Step 8. Add the cornstarch and an equal amount of hot liquid from your Instant Pot® to a small bowl, then stir together until dissolved before adding more as needed!
Step 9. Select the sauté function on the highest setting and bring sauce to boil while stirring frequently, approximately 1-2 minutes Add a little cornstarch slurry until thickened.
Step 10. Turn the Instant Pot® off and transfer the sauce to a bowl before brushing ribs on both sides with a little bit more for each side in order to get nice browned results! Place the baking sheet under the broiler, for 2-3 minutes per side depending on how you like your meat cooked.
Step 11. Brush sauce on the ribs and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately!
