Step 4. Using the same bowl you used for the apples, beat the egg, melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and flour together until combined.
Step 5. Pour over the apples, It is supposed to be thick. This is the only “crust” that this pie has.
Step 6. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center and making sure it comes out clean.
