The classic pumpkin spice latte
If you love PSLs and want to try them at home, this recipe is for you. It has fewer calories than most PSLs from coffee chains but tastes just as good. You will save money by making one at home.
You will be cooking in the kitchen with this recipe! All you need is a pumpkin. You can make the pumpkin puree at home by putting your pumpkin’s flesh into a food processor or you can use canned. Add to that vanilla extract, some natural flavoring like coffee or milk for added flavor, and of course—pumpkin pie spice.
Almond milk is a good substitute for cow’s milk in this recipe because it does not have too much sugar. You can also use regular sweeteners if you want, but using unsweetened ingredients will make the amount of sugar per serving smaller because they are big.
You can enjoy your morning coffee with pumpkin creamer.
If you don’t like pumpkin spice, there is still a way to enjoy the flavors. You can make your own coffee creamer that tastes like pumpkin pie. It is easy and healthy because it does not have chemicals in it.
To make the pumpkin creamer, start with milk. Unsweetened almond or cashew milk works well. Put pumpkin in it and add spices like cinnamon and nutmeg or vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat until boiling (or hot if you’re using sauces). Stir while cooking so that everything mixes well together before putting in an airtight container in the fridge. The creamer is ready to use every day!
The best way to start your day is with pumpkin protein coffee.
This drink has flavors of pumpkin spice, and it has a protein shake. You might need to get going in the morning. But sometimes you can’t have coffee. This is how you can do that!
To make this coffee shake, you can put almond milk in a blender. Add pumpkin pie spice and vanilla protein powder for flavor. If you want it sweet, add any type of sweetener that you like!

What kind of pre-made pumpkin spice drinks can you purchase?
Did you know there are even more options for seasonal drinks you can enjoy at home?
Pumpkin K-Cups:
The great part about K-cups is that everyone in the house can have their favorite coffee instantly. My husband drinks his coffee black with sugar. He is not into all of the different flavors of coffee. I like to be adventurous and try new things.
Pumpkin Ground Coffee
Remember, you can use your favorite ground coffee in your Keurig. You can purchase a silicone reusable k-cup. We have one as a backup.

Pumpkin Tea:
I am not a big tea drinker in general unless it is iced tea. I love that there are pumpkin options for those that are tea drinks though. Options are a great thing.
- Bigelow Pumpkin Black Tea
- Celestial Sweet Harvests Pumpkin Black Tea
- Rooibos Pumpkin Tea
- The Republic of Tea
- Twinings Chai
Pumpkin Hot Cocoa, and Flavoring:
I love hot cocoa and cider. There is nothing better on a cold chilly day than to curl up with a cup of your favorite warm beverage. A good book is needed as well.
- International Delight Pumpkin Creamer
- Torani Sugar-Free Pumpkin-Free Syrup
- Swiss Miss Pumpkin Flavored Hot Cocoa Mix Packets

This list of delicious fall drinks is sure to make you feel warm and fuzzy. And if that’s not enough, these pumpkin drinks are also good for your health! So grab a mug and pour yourself some hot chocolate or apple cider while the leaves start changing colors outside. Your body will thank you later.
